The AMF opens UCITS to crypto-assets and commodities

Towards a major change for retail funds: the French Autorité des marchés financiers is consulting until 3 July 2026 on allowing UCITS to gain up to 10% exposure to crypto-assets, precious metals and commodities through financial certificates.

01What the AMF proposes

UCITS funds today invest in traditional asset classes: equities, bonds, real estate, with a regulated diversification logic. The AMF is consulting on opening them to alternative assets, in an indirect and capped form.
