01Data controller

OpenbanQ, a SASU with share capital of €1,000, registered with the RCS Paris under number 899 412 522, with its registered office at 4 rue Jacques Cœur, 75004 Paris, is the controller of personal data processed through the openbanq.com website.

02Data collected

We only collect the data needed for the purposes described below:

  • Contact and meeting requests: last name, first name, company, position, email address, phone number, content of your message.
  • Network applications: last name, first name, email address, phone number (optional), LinkedIn profile, content of your message.
  • Newsletter: email address.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date and time of connection, kept by our hosting provider for site security.

03Purposes and legal bases

  • Reviewing your application to join our network: pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
  • Responding to your requests and arranging a conversation: pre-contractual measures taken at your request, or OpenbanQ’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
  • Sending our newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
  • Ensuring the security and proper operation of the site: OpenbanQ’s legitimate interest.

Your data is never sold or used for profiling.

04Retention periods

  • Contact requests and prospects: 3 years from the last exchange.
  • Applications: 2 years from the last exchange.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Technical connection data: 12 months maximum.

05Recipients

Your data is intended exclusively for OpenbanQ. It may be processed on our behalf and on our instructions by our technical service providers (hosting, email, newsletter tool), who are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

Our service providers: OVH SAS (website hosting), 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France.

06Transfers outside the European Union

We favour service providers that host data within the European Union. Should a transfer outside the European Union take place, it would be governed by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

07Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your data:

  • right of access, rectification and erasure;
  • right to restriction of processing and right to object;
  • right to data portability;
  • right to withdraw your consent at any time;
  • right to set instructions regarding your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, write to us at achardj@openbanq.com. We will reply within one month. If there is reasonable doubt about your identity, proof may be requested.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority): www.cnil.fr.

08Cookies

The site does not use advertising cookies or audience measurement requiring your consent. Only items strictly necessary for its operation may be stored, for example to remember your display preferences.

The site’s fonts are loaded from the Google Fonts service, which transmits your IP address to Google.

Should audience measurement tools or third-party cookies be added, a banner would allow you to accept or refuse them, and this policy would be updated.

09Security

OpenbanQ implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to data, selection of service providers offering sufficient guarantees.

This policy may be updated to reflect legal or website changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
